Intro to Carbine

    Recent trends indicate that the rifle is rapidly becoming the primary weapon of choice in many shootings and although the handgun will not become obsolete, we believe that a core foundation on the proper fundamentals of carbine manipulation is paramount to mastering the delicate balance of speed and accuracy for ultimate survival.

    Over the course of instruction, students will learn the following:

    • Safety and Mindset
    • Establishing a proper zero
    • Core Shooting Positions
    • Carbine Fundamentals (Stance, grip, recoil mechanics and accuracy drills)
    • Weapon Manipulation (speed, efficiency, loading, and malfunctions)
    • Gear selection and placement



    • Minimum of 350 rounds of ammunition
    • A functional and practical carbine or battle rifle (chambered in 223/5.56, 5.45x39, 300AAC, 7.62x39, or 7.62x51)
    • Rifle sling and appropriate sling attachments/mounts for your rifle
    • Minimum of (3) total magazines (minimum of 20 round capacity)
    • Weapon optics (iron sights at minimum, but Red Dot or Scoped Optic preferred)
    • Weapon lubrication
    • Knee/Elbow pads (if needed)
    • Shooting Mat (preferred but not necessary)
    • Tools to work on your weapon (if needed to fix)
    • Ear Pro
    • Eye Pro
    • Water/Hydrating device
    • Sunscreen and baseball cap (optional)
    • Folding chair (optional)
